by constructing massive megastrcutures that will have
earth like enviorments
the concept of space habitats was first proposed
by a scientist named gerard k oniell in his book
called "the high frontier: human colonies in space"
of course he wasnt actually the first to propose
however he was the one to first have a concrete idea
he had a few designs he made
however the most famous and best one
is what now is called the oniell cylinder
the oniell cylinder is a giant cylinder
in space that rotates for artificial gravity
it holds it's own ecology with trees
lakes grasslands and animals
light can either come from artificial means
or giant mirrors
the design can be used for many different purposes
like being the main habitat for a dyson swarm
making it inside asteroids
or using it as a generation ship for other stars
