the dc3 is the first type of space shuttle
that was in the sts program
and was first launched in early 1972
the shuttle is a too stage viehicle
with the first stage being a flyback boosters
and the second stage being the orbiter
compared to later orbiters the dc3's payload bay
was tiny however the cost to launch it
were tiny too
